You won't want to leave Tordesillas without visiting its most emblematic buildings, the Casas del Tratado (Treaty Houses), located on a high spot with a view of the Douro River, next to San Antolín Church. The houses are two connected palaces dating from the 15th and 17th centuries, and they have been declared a site of cultural interest. One of them, the older of the two, was the location of the signing of the famous Treaty of Tordesillas, with which Spain and Portugal divided up the territories of the New World....
